These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website https://surveyingwithrobert.com, including memberships, training and support services, and products offered for sale (the “Services”). By using the site or purchasing any service or product, you agree to these Terms.
Contracting Party
Surveying With Robert LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”), a limited liability company organized under the laws of Mississippi, is the contracting party. Disputes will be governed by the laws of Mississippi unless and until the company is re-registered in another state.
Memberships
- Memberships may be offered in both free and paid tiers.
- Paid memberships are auto-renewing (monthly or annual) until canceled.
- You may cancel at any time. Annual memberships are non-refundable and remain active through the end of the paid term.
- Membership benefits, including access to community forums, training content, and other features, are described on the website.
Training and Support Services
- Remote Support Calls: Bookings are non-refundable if canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time. You may reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice.
- Training Courses: Cancellations within 48 hours of purchase are fully refundable. After 48 hours, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account any travel or preparation costs already incurred.
- No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a scheduled call or training without prior notice results in forfeiture of fees.
- Scope of Support: Support and training services provide advice and guidance only. We are not responsible for the outcome of work performed in the field by you or your team.
Products
- Products are supplied by third-party manufacturers and drop-shipped directly to you.
- Returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee and customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
- Manufacturer warranties apply. Surveying With Robert LLC is not responsible for manufacturing defects, warranty claims, or shipping delays.
- Title and risk of loss transfer to you once the product is shipped (FOB shipping point).
Refunds and Cancellations
- Memberships: Non-refundable once billed. Annual memberships remain active for the full term.
- Online Training Courses: 100% refund if canceled within 48 hours. After that, refunds are case-by-case.
- On-Site Training:
- Cancel within 7 days of the scheduled start: refund minus any non-recoverable travel costs (airfare, hotel, rental car, etc.).
- Cancel less than 48 hours before start: nonrefundable.
- Support Calls: Refunds only if canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.
- Products: Refunds subject to manufacturer policies, restocking fees, and return shipping.
Community Guidelines
Use of forums or community areas is subject to our posted Community Rules. By participating, you agree to follow these rules. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your membership.
Limitations of Liability
- Our liability for any claim related to the website, services, or products is limited to the amount you paid to Surveying With Robert LLC for the relevant transaction.
- We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or project delays.
- Field support and training are advisory only, and we disclaim responsibility for how advice is implemented in practice.
Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mississippi (or Arkansas, if and when the LLC is re-domiciled). Any disputes must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Mississippi.
Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the site or services after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
